Our client is a leading Audio Visual Integrator dedicated to delivering exceptional events and presentations. They pride themselves on providing top-notch audiovisual solutions to ensure the success of every event, from town halls and special occasions to VIP meetings. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Technician to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AV Event Management:

    • Track and manage all AV Event requests via the client booking portal.
    • Direct and manage all onsite events within large Presentation & Event spaces.
    • Provide white glove service, managing technical logistics for large complex events, town halls, special events, and VIP video meetings.
  • Client Interaction:

    • Conduct planning meetings with client event organizers to ensure the correct technology is being used for successful meetings/events.
    • Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish the full nature of meetings and equipment/meeting room setup requirements.
    • Conduct client debriefs, obtain customer feedback, and discuss areas for continual improvement.
  • Operating Procedures:

    • Devise, document, maintain, and implement operating procedures for key event spaces.
    • Mentor AV Technicians to cover/support events as required.
  • Vendor Collaboration:

    • Work with vendors for AV rental and staging of events as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with offsite events team to ensure all event requirements are captured and managed effectively for both onsite and offsite events.
    • Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a second/third-line basis.
  • Equipment Management:

    • Ensure fault tickets are logged via the client ticketing portal and resolved within SLA.
    • Support/manage software/firmware updates once instructed/change control.
    • Manage equipment repairs within key event spaces in collaboration with the technical manager.
  • Studio Operations:

    • Setup, test, operate, and break down studio equipment.
    • Provide advice and support to users at all levels on studio equipment, connectivity, and applications.
    • Act as a production consultant for key larger events.
    • Collaborate with client teams to support filming and editing requests.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Troubleshoot studio-related technology issues to complete resolution when problems occur.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Certification in Axis CTS.
  • QSYS Level 1 Designer.
  • Cisco expertise.
  • Samsung proficiency.
  • Shure Level 1 Institute certification.
  • Yamaha competence.
  • Dante certification.
  • Lightware MX2M knowledge.
  • Extron proficiency.
