Job Title: Senior AV Technician

Location: London, UK

Our client is a leading global audio-visual integrator who offer a wide range of AV & Event services to both the corporate and public sector. They are a growing business with over 600 team members across the globe.

Role Overview: They are seeking a Senior AV Technician to join their dynamic team in London. As a key representative you will take on the responsibility of monitoring the AV Mailbox and AV Ticketing system, handling AV telephone enquiries, conducting daily room checks, meet and greets, basic VC/AV meeting setups, and providing 1st/2nd line support for technical issues.

This position is based within our end user's organization, which consistently invests in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training. As one of our many openings, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Senior AV Technician to contribute to an established operation and drive service enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to users at all levels of seniority on Audio-Visual equipment, connectivity, and applications.
  • Conduct daily morning meeting room testing of all deployed technologies.
  • Set up and support meetings and conferences as required.
  • Handle and track all AV fault-related tickets raised via the ticketing system, monitoring them through the lifecycle to conclusion.
  • Create comprehensive reporting procedures to the account manager when required.
  • Attend client service reviews with the account manager and client.
  • Track and manage all AV requests received via dedicated AV phone and email.
  • Provide 1st/2nd line troubleshooting of any AV system failures.
  • Demonstrate experience and a good understanding of all technologies deployed.
  • Set up, test, operate, and install/deinstall audio-visual and video conference equipment.
  • Support events, including preparation, rehearsals, and coordination of rental equipment.
  • Manage onsite service deliverables in conjunction with help desk teams.
  • Conduct inventory management of consumables and stock holding of on-site critical spares.
  • Own the service and become the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the delivery of all managed service SLAs.

Desirable Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of corporate experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of meeting room audio and video conferencing systems.
  • Excellent communication, time management, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with people at all levels.
  • Initiative-driven problem solver.
  • Customer-focused with a strong ability to interact with individuals in a friendly, welcoming, and helpful manner.
